Contrary to the teachings of the false, apostate “churches” of today that would relegate doctrine to the ashheap as “divisive”, doctrine isn’t just important, it is everything. Your doctrine determines what you believe and what you do or do not act upon and that, in turn, determines your eternal situation. God has never told His people to sacrifice everything for the sake of “fellowship”. Quite the contrary, He instructed His people to shun other gods and come out from among those of the world and stay separate - obey Him and stay true to His laws and teachings - exclusively. It would seem to be critical, therefore, to learn proper doctrine and to follow proper teaching very closely. This is an important book for anyone who would be a Christian.
