This excellent teaching series uncovers the enemies’ deception behind the one time popular book, “New Age Bible Versions”, by Gail Riplinger (later exposed as a witch) promoting the King James version of the Bible as the only proper and acceptable translation for use by Christians.
The enemy has many ways to steal, bury and hide truth from God’s people. While there are certainly many Bible translations that Christians should completely shun and the King James version has many good attributes, the King James is certainly not the best or the only translation from which Christians should study. For example, the King James was not translated from the Septuagint version of the Old Testament - the Old Testament version utilized by Jesus and the apostles. “They” do not want you reading from the Septuagint because it offers many insights the Masoretic text does not and the King James was translated from the Masoretic.
